Meet Jocelyn

I didn’t call myself a libertarian until I was in my 30s, but I was raised with firm liberty values. My dad’s family could be completely self-sufficient. As a collective, they could run a farm, build a house or barn, fix all the machinery, hunt or grow, and prepare all the family food, and they didn’t neglect their social obligation to help others. Growing up in Iowa often gives people the impression that I grew up a conservative, however I was taught that everyone has the right to live peacefully however they wished. Be responsible, self-reliant, mind your business but be willing to give aid whenever there is a need. We needn’t the government for much of anything except judication and national defense.

School never fit me, I’d rather study only what I chose, daydream, and listen to music. If there were viable options outside of the government indoctrination centers available, I’d probably have a much stronger education background.
